Doug's Priorities -
Short Term Goals
- Complete the Mornington Roundabout
- Complete the connection between Oceania Drive and South Arm Highway
- Improve the amenity of the Bellerive Fort at Rosny Hill Lookout
- Continue improving roads and footpaths
- Keep rate increases to the minimum
- Develop practical plans to deal with the threat of global warming
- Increasing business and employment opportunities in Clarence, including from the Antarctic Air Link
- Introduce a Clarence Youth Council
- Continued development of the Clarence Foreshore Trail
- Make the Rosny Mall a two-way street
Long-term Goals
- Provide water and sewerage services to unserviced areas.
- Construct a by-pass at Richmond to protect the Bridge and village from heavy traffic.
- Extend Flagstaff Gully Road to the East Derwent Highway and provide better access to the Bowen Bridge.
- Build a civic arts and cultural centre for Clarence.
I have now served you as a Clarence Alderman for seven years

- Recycling wheelie bins
- Council Audit Committee (better accountability)
